The Flutter Sleeve Cardigan - Finished!

FINALLY - I have my pictures of the Flutter Sleeve Cardigan!
I'm really happy with this project...

I used Blue Sky Alpaca yarn, which I always love to work with... The pattern sizing is 36", but I'm only 32" and it fits well.

Whew.. Just back from Vegas last night.

Woke up from a LONG post-working nap and I and am about to return to sleep shortly!
Stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel. Lots of fun.

PRE-Vegas:
I completed the smallest size of the Interweave Spring 20008 "Flutter Sleeve Cardigan."
It turn out great. Even though I have mastered shaping, socks, gloves, mittens, hats, and even lace at times - I managed to sew all the seams, make button wholes, and sew on the buttons: all the finishing techniques I have avoided over the years.
The project was really fun and I finished the entire thing in about 3 weeks.
For me, that is quite an accomplishment.

Outside of knitting I have been contemplating the impending loss of paycheck in mid-june. Very scary...
But at the same time, I couldn't be more excited to join the NYU Stern MBA program full-time.

NEW PROJECT:
Montego Bay Scarf (#2) in Habu Golden/Natural Silk -- nice easy project for the recent vacation. :)

I've been knitting

but not blogging...
Here are some pics of my projects from the Fall.
I successfully finished the Mason Dixon After-Dark Nightie in Louet Sport (color champagne).
It was a pretty simple pattern, but am horrible at finishing, so the side seams are bulkier than I'd like.  It also turned out a bit wider and shorter than I anticipated.
There are more pics on my Flickr site and on Ravelry (user name Tigerlilly).

WIP is the matching Mason-Dixon After Dark Robe in Louet Sport (color Ginger).  I have the back piece completed and am gearing up to start the front pieces...

I have also finished another pair of Blue Moon Socks (color is Pink Granite).  I love this yarn - fun colors and easy to work with...

Also finished a scarf for my friend - I used Jade Sapphire 8-ply Cashmere and a simple diamond motif.  I liked this project and the yarn, but wish I had a 3rd skein to
make it longer!  Of course at close to $40/skein, I only bought 2...
